ART. 01 · Case A In her words

Mira's gloved hand working a fine needle close to the skin — INV. 01 · Chair 01 · Mira at work

I draw from the plant, not from a photo of it. If you bring a stem from your garden, I'll draw that stem, with the leaf that curls the wrong way.

Fine line lives or dies on the healing. I keep pieces small enough and open enough that the lines still read in ten years, and I'll tell you when an idea needs to be bigger to last.

01Single-needle florals
02Botanical studies from life
03Pieces under three hours

Takes: Florals, botanicals, fine script, small pieces that sit close to the bone.
Doesn't take: Heavy black fill, cover-ups, copies of another artist's work.
